LORD Sensing MicroStrain is a company which develops and manufactures wireless sensor data acquisition systems, inertial sensors, micro-displacement sensors, and software for a wide range of custom and embedded applications. They are part of LORD Sensing, a section of the global LORD Corporation.

I began work on the LORD Microstrain site in the Summer of 2015 when I was brought on as an Intern to migrate the existing site, which was based in Ingeniux, over to Drupal.

I designed a new Product Page organization system using Drupal's native Taxonomy system. The advantage of using Taxonomy for the products is that it integrates extremely well with other elements of Drupal, such as Panels and Views, which allowed me to create templates for the products with ease.

I continue to develop for this site by upgrading various components, performing site and module updates, and fixing site bugs as they arise.

LORD Corporation is a diversified technology and manufacturing company developing highly reliable adhesives, coatings, motion management devices, and sensing technologies that significantly reduce risk and improve product performance.

I began work on LORD's website in early 2016 as I transitioned away from only working on Lord Microstrain. This site is much larger in scope than Microstrain, as it serves as the face for the whole of LORD.

Because LORD is a multinational company, they also have several regional sites to better service different areas of the world. In the middle of 2016 I began to transition into a role as the primary contact point for the marketing teams of each region. Each month I meet with each region by Skype and discuss their current web content and strategy. I make suggestions on how they can improve, as well as field requests for new features and landing pages that they want created. The sites that I manage are EMEA, Brazil, Latin America, and China.
